My Story

I’ve always believed that life is about building — not just companies, but impact.

My story begins with deep Somali roots and a life shaped by movement, ambition, and purpose. From a young age, I was driven by curiosity and a desire to create. That curiosity led me to the world of marketing — where stories, strategy, and human connection meet.

In Mogadishu, I founded my first two ventures: a digital marketing agency and an online store, both born from the belief that Somali youth could build, innovate, and lead with creativity. I went on to consult over 30 startups, helping young founders turn raw ideas into real businesses. That experience taught me not only how to grow brands, but how to grow people — guiding them through the same uncertainty I once faced.

Later, I expanded my vision beyond Somalia, founding Max Marketing Agency in Minneapolis — a full-service, Somali-founded digital media agency helping brands find their voice and connect authentically with audiences.

Today, I also lead marketing at Digitized Solutions, a global Oracle Cloud ERP consultancy that empowers organizations to transform how they work. It’s here that creativity meets enterprise — and I’ve learned to merge storytelling with technology to drive measurable impact.

My journey has been one of adaptability, faith, and a constant pursuit of growth. From photography and startups to tech and marketing strategy, one truth has always stayed the same: stories move people — and people move change.
